Rock the crock for a rich and flavorful twist on a classic dish. Simmer the sauce in the slow cooker and stir in hot pasta just before serving. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

package (20 oz) boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

package (8 oz) sliced mushrooms

cup chopped onion

teaspoons Italian seasoning

teaspoon salt

cup heavy whipping cream
1
package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2
lb uncooked spaghetti
1/4
cup shredded Parmesan cheese

    Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add chicken, mushrooms, onion, Italian seasoning and salt to slow cooker.

    Cover; cook on High heat setting 3 to 4 hours.

    Stir in whipping cream and cream cheese. Cover; cook 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as directed on box. Drain; stir into chicken mixture until well blended. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Expert Tips

Garnish with chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley.

For a complete meal, serve with a fresh mixed green salad.
