lb country-style pork loin ribs

cup packed dark brown sugar

tablespoon chili powder

teaspoon salt

teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

cups ketchup

cup cider vinegar

tablespoons spicy brown mustard

tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

tablespoon liquid smoke

    Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place ribs in slow cooker. In medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs.

    Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 to 10 hours.

Expert Tips

  • If the ribs you purchase are on the fatty side, broil 3 to 4 minutes until browned, drain and then place in the slow cooker.
  • Do you like extra-spicy ribs? If so, add 1/2 teaspoon red pepper sauce.
