    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon food coloring (any color)

    Directions

    1. 1Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
    2. 2In a small jar with a tight lid, add the sugar and food coloring. Shake until thoroughly combined.
    3. 3Spread colored sugar on a parchment-lined cookie sheet in an even layer.
    4. 4Bake for 5-10 minutes or until sugar starts to glisten (not too long, or it will melt!).
    5. 5Let mixture cool and sprinkle away!

    That's how I make my colored sugar. I'll have to try it to see if it sparkles more. How can "Glitter" be stored?
