Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 3 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

    Snap off the tough ends and remove strings from green beans. Cut green beans in half.

  • To make the green beans more festive for the holidays, add 1/4 cup of dried cranberries.
