You can also make them the night before, which makes them perfect for an on the go breakfast or snack. Simply pile the smoothie bites in a cup, paper liners or sandwich bags and you’re ready to go!

We created three flavors inspired by our favorite smoothies:

Here’s how to make Blueberry Grape Smoothie Poppers.

Gather the goods: Concord grape juice, fresh blueberries, vanilla yogurt and unflavored gelatin.

In a large bowl, sprinkle gelatin on 1/2 cup cold grape juice to soften; let stand 1 minute. Add 3/4 cup hot grape juice to gelatin mixture, and stir about 2 minutes or until gelatin is dissolved. Meanwhile, blend yogurt and blueberries until smooth. Stir yogurt mixture into dissolved gelatin mixture.

Pour into lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.

Once set, cut into cubes or use small cookie cutters to cut into fun shapes. That’s it! The smoothie poppers are ready to grab and go.

Lime Green Smoothie Poppers


envelopes unflavored gelatin
cup cold apple juice
cup packed fresh baby spinach
containers (6 oz each) Yoplait® 99% Fat Free Key lime yogurt
cup apple juice, heated to boiling


  • 1 Lightly spray 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray, then blot with paper towel; set aside. In large bowl, sprinkle gelatin on 1/2 cup cold apple juice to soften; let stand 1 minute.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in blender, place spinach and yogurt. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth. Add hot apple juice to gelatin mixture, and stir about 2 minutes or until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in yogurt mixture. Pour into loaf pan.
  • 3 Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. Cut into cubes and serve, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days before serving.
