Celebrate the holidays with the most amazing pies we have ever seen.
By Burn The Wine

Celebrate dessert with these amazing pies.

Now that the spooky season has passed, we're moving headlong into the holidays. And there’s no better way to celebrate the holidays (or a successful grocery shopping trip) than with pie.

Did you know that in ye olde timey days, people used piecrust as a way to seal delectable juices into meats or poultry when cooking them, with zero intention of actually eating the crust? Madness! Humanity soon learned that tasty piecrust is a vital and essential part of the overall pie enjoyment process. In recognition of that awesome development in human knowledge, and in keeping with harvest time traditions, we bring you the 12 of the most amazing pies ever witnessed by humankind.

1. Peanut Butter Nutella Nutter Butter Pie by Crazy For Crust

No, your eyes do not deceive you. I know it’s a lot to process, so let’s just take a deep breath, close our eyes and break this down into its smallest elements so that our brains can fully absorb this information. It is peanut butter. It is Nutella. The crust is made of Nutter Butter cookies. It is clearly amazing and if you are rolling around on the floor now because your mind is blown by the thought that this even exists, that is okay and no one is judging you.

2. Mac-N-Cheese Pie by Oh Bite It

I don’t know if bacon really does make everything better, but it certainly can’t hurt, right? The fillo dough crust and bacon lattice over creamy mac and cheese is hardcore comfort food for blustery fall days.

3. Cinnamon Roll Dutch Apple Pie by Girl Versus Dough

This crust looks like a million little cinnamon rolls have gathered together with the mission of ushering scrumptious Dutch apple pie goodness into your face. Using a refrigerated pie Pillsbury pie crust means this tasty treat only looks complicated to make.

4. No Bake Banana Split Pie by Cheeky Kitchen

This pie looks a party ready to happen in your mouth. Clever use of yogurt means there’s no baking involved!

5. Cookie Cake Pie by Gimme Some Oven

This is the Voltron of desserts. Cake! Cookie! Pie! All united for great justice and your eating pleasure.

6. Mile High Turtle Pie by Sugar and Charm

This pie calls for three layers of ice cream on a chocolate cookie crust. Top it off with caramel, whipped cream and pecans for a decadent treat.

7. Triple Berry Pie

You don’t have to be a Math and Science major to see that this clever pie deserves all the awards.

8. Grasshopper Mint Pie by Girl Who Ate Everything

This pie combines the cool refreshing flavor of mint with delectable chocolate – a flavor pairing known throughout the land to be refined and exceptionally palatable. Up the ante and add in mint cookies to take this pie to the next level.

9. Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Pie

I made eye contact with this pie and almost got the vapors. Sinfully decadent chocolate swirls in a courtly fashion with peanut butter cup candies atop an ice cream stage. In case you don’t have a fainting couch nearby, a regular couch will do – make sure to take a slice with you.

10. Boston Cream Pie “Pie”

Cubed little cakey bits top off this creamy layered pie in a manner that appeals to both the eyes and the taste buds.

11. Snickerdoodle Cupcake Pie by Lady Behind the Curtain

This pie is made up of tiny little cupcakes! Melted cream cheese frosting can be accented with sprinkles for increased awesomeness.

12. Dark Chocolate Stout Cream Pie

I’m not a big beer drinker, so this would be my preferred way to enjoy a stout. Rich and dark, this chocolate pie can be garnished with chocolate shavings for extra yum.
