20 Delicious Recipes that are No Joke
April Fools’ Day is here, along with these amazing recipes that are seriously no laughing matter! MORE+ LESS-

I know you’ve probably got some stellar pranks lined up – likely an inordinate amount of sticky-notes, foil wrap or double-sided tape will be involved. Heck, maybe you’re planning to use all three on your unsuspecting prey. Kudos to you! Get your prank on.

But whilst you bring your laugher-inducing joy, make sure you have all the nutrients needed to achieve prankdom’s highest of glories. I present to you these amazing recipes that are seriously no laughing matter!

1. S’mores Muddy Buddies Brownies

We’re starting off strong here, so I hope you’re ready. You already know how dangerous addictive Muddy Buddies can be. Imagine them super-powered by a rich chocolate brownie base and amplified further by the toasted marshmallow power of s’mores.

2. Crescent-Wrapped Baby Cheeses

Look at this ooey-gooey masterpiece! It’s little baby cheeses all wrapped up snug in a warm crescent roll blanket! They’re also bathed in sweet maple syrup and topped off with crunch pecans to please every type of taste receptor on your tongue.

3. Skillet Chili Cheese Fry Bake

Topped with chili, cheddar cheese, savory ground beef or chicken and crumbled bacon, these are utterly compelling!

4. Bacon Peanut Butter Cannoli

You create the outer layer of this cannoli with crisp, savory bacon. The bacon tube is then stuffed with a creamy ricotta cheese, banana, and peanut butter mixture and topped with delicately placed chocolate chips. Yessssssssssss!

5. Cheese and Bacon-Filled Waffles

You didn’t even know – you were like a babe in the woods; wandering and innocent and then lo! You looked upon this cheesy, bacony glory and your life changed forever. Especially when you realized you could make this at home with your own waffle iron.

6. Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Pie

I don’t even know what to say at this point. Are there words that can properly describe this perfect amalgamation of dessert items? What words can adequately capture its fudgy, cookie and ice cream splendor? There are none, friend – there are none.

7. Pity Pancakes

These pancakes are full of all the good things in the world. Seriously. This recipe calls for Baileys™ Irish Cream, chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella™), bacon, peanut butter, crunchy potato chips – the list goes on! The real pity is humans have such small stomachs and can’t eat this all day, every day!

8. Bacon Cheeseburger Shepherd’s Pie

This savory pie is shepherding all of its deliciousness right to your face. Enjoy the bountiful bacon cheeseburger goodness topped by Betty Crocker™ Homestyle creamy butter mashed potatoes.

9. Brown Sugar Bacon Biscuit Bake

What you need are some Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, butter, brown sugar and bacon. These ooey-gooey treats are ready to enrich your life – no joke.

10. Slow Cooker Turtle Pudding

Decadence at its finest. This rich chocolate pudding will put any sweet tooth craving to rest.

11. Cheesy Sriracha Corn Dog Poppers

There’s sriracha in them there dogs! Cheese as well. These little golden treats are nature’s perfect palate pleasers and are (supposedly) good for sharing. I wouldn’t share them though, tbh.

12. S’mores Stacker Pancakes

Four candy bars go into making these pancakes, and I’m not talking fun-sized. Four legitimate, full-sized candy bars are getting down and tasty with toasted marshmallow madness to make the pancakes you’ve never dared to dream of.

13. Cheesy Slow Cooker Tater Tot Casserole

This recipe calls for Spud Puppies. SPUD PUPPIES! And meatballs. And ALL THE CHEESE! Plus, you can make it in a slow cooker so you can go about your April Fools’ Day causing mayhem and come home to a splendid and cheesy dinner.

14. Hot Fudge Marshmallow Monkey Bread

Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle buttermilk biscuits are bathed in hot fudge and melty, gooey marshmallow yum, making the best pull-apart bread you’ve ever had the pleasure of getting all over your shirt.

15. Bacon Funnel Cake

One of my favorite things about the State Fair is funnel cake. You can always smell it in the air when you’re getting close. Is there anything better than sweet fried bread? The answer is yes – like adding blueberries and bacon to elevate your funnel cake to the next level of yum!

16. Bacon Chocolate Couch Potato Bars

I am an advocate for positive reinforcement. So after you have had a successful day of pranking everyone you know and love, reward yourself with this salty, sweet dessert bar!

17. Mac and Cheese Waffles

“Who puts mac and cheese on waffles?!” You cry, preparing to write your congressperson. “Geniuses, that’s who!” I’m not joking, prepare those taste buds for cheesy, waffled bliss.

18. Glazed Bacon Roll Ups

There is bacon and brown sugar – there is also Concord jelly and Dijon mustard. It’s the perfect fusion of sweet and savory all across the board! Your taste buds will thank you.

19. Mini Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese Pizzas

It’s a good thing these are mini – that way you don’t have to feel bad about eating 50 of them. Buffalo chicken and cheesy macaroni cavort merrily atop Pillsbury™ refrigerated pizza crusts, ready to make your belly very happy.

20. Gooey Caramel Pecan Cake

My kingdom for an ooey-gooey caramel pecan cake! Okay, so that’s totally not how the saying goes, but I think you get my meaning. This cake? Totally worth the keys to the kingdom.
