At first glance, these look just like regular nachos. But look a little closer and it’s clear that these are nacho average snack. (Life’s too short to resist a nacho pun.)
Tortilla chips are delicious and all, but when our Totino’s-loving selves heard about the new queso-filled Stuffed Nachos from Totino’s, we knew what we had to do.
First, we par-baked the stuffed nachos on a baking sheet for 10 minutes at 425°F; ovens vary so check yours at the 8-minute mark. Then, we transferred them to a cast-iron skillet for optimal topping distribution, but literally any pan would do.
This is the part where our dreams start coming true. We piled the nachos high with Old El Paso refried beans, queso dip, shredded cheese, onions, jalapeños and olives, then put them back into the oven for five more minutes. Once everything was baked to melty perfection, we added lettuce, salsa and sour cream for the grand finale.
Now, we know what you’re wondering: were these golden pillows of nacho-y goodness as delicious as they sound? Let’s just say that once you’ve tasted them, you’ll wonder how you made it this far without them.
