Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits (any variety)
1/4
cup flour
4
cups vegetable oil, for frying
Powdered sugar, for topping

    Add oil to a large pot. Heat on medium heat and bring to a simmer.

    Begin beignets by sprinkling counter surface with flour. Open Pillsbury™ Grands!™ biscuits and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. Take a knife and cut 1-inch strips horizontally, and then vertically until you have 1-inch squares. You can also cut out in shapes using a small cookie cutter.

    Carefully drop dough pieces into the hot oil. Cook them thoroughly until deep brown to ensure they are cooked in the center. Remove with a slotted spoon and place onto paper towels to soak up excess oil.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
