Hummus Pita Pizzas

Pita breads topped with garbanzo beans and cheese make yummy pizzas – ready in 15 minutes. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

can (15 oz) garbanzo beans, drained, rinsed
4
pita breads (6 to 8 inch)
1
cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese (4 oz)
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

    Set oven control to broil. Line cookie sheet with foil; spray foil with cooking spray. In food processor, process beans until smooth.
  • 2
    Spread beans evenly over each pita bread. Sprinkle each with 1/4 cup cheese. Place on cookie sheet.

    Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 2 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges of bread are crisp. Remove from cookie sheet; cut into quarters. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
