More About This Recipe
Chex Mix is transformed into a salted caramel apple party treat in minutes!

Grab a bag of Caramel Crunch Chex mix and add it to the mix in this splendid recipe. Delicious, tart apple chips, buttery caramel, and a happy sprinkling of coarse sea salt makes this crunchy mix an instant favorite!

You know Chex mix is savory, but did you also know it can be deliciously sweet, too? Caramel Crunch Chex is ready for tearing into straight home from the store, but I wanted to put a gourmet twist on it.

The real secret to this recipe is a proper salt. See if you can find crystal or flake sea salt at your local organic foods grocer. It's so pretty to cook with, and adds gorgeous flair to this recipe!

To make this mix, you gotta start with deeeelicious Caramel Chex Mix.

Then, make caramel. Buttery, ooey-gooey, perfectly delicious caramel. Drizzle that baby right on top and add apple chips or dried apples.

Then sprinkle it all with sea salt. Hello, darling.

Serve in snack bowls, and prepare to get your fingers sticky.

This is one treat you won't mind licking off your fingers!
