An easy make ahead recipe that a friend I play tennis with passed along. We make this every summer for a Breakfast at Wimbledon party we host.

Ingredients

6
slices white bread, buttered and cut into 1 inch cubes
5
large eggs
3
cups milk
1 1/2
teaspoons salt
1 1/2
teaspoons ground dry mustard
3/4
cup diced ham
1/2
cup diced onion
1/2
cup diced green pepper
3/4
cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  • 1 Night Before: Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place bread cubes across bottom of pan.
  • 2 In large bowl, beat milk, eggs, salt and ground mustard until well blended. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 3 Following Morning: Preheat oven to 325 ° F. Sprinkle ham, onion and green pepper over egg and bread mixture. Top with shredded cheese.
  • 4 Cover with foil and bake for 1 Hour; remove foil for last 10 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
