Extreme Cheese and Meatball Party Ring

Serve this deliciously fun and cheesy pizza ring and impress all of your guests!

Ingredients

1
(13-inch loaf) package Pillsbury™ refrigerated crusty French loaf
Flour, for dusting
1/2
cup pizza sauce
1
cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1
cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4
cup pepperoni slices
1
cup frozen meatballs
1
cup fresh spinach
1
cup salsa con queso, warmed
Fresh tomatoes and basil, for garnish

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2 Open the French bread dough and place the dough log on a surface sprinkled with flour. Use your palms to roll the log of dough until it’s about 20 inches long. Circle the dough into a ring and pinch the edges together to seal. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the top starts to brown.
  • 3 Let the bread cool to the touch and use a serrated knife to cut slices about 1-inch apart in the bread around the ring, making sure not to cut all the way through the loaf.
  • 4 Stuff a rounded teaspoon of pizza sauce or marinara sauce between each slice. Then, stuff mozzarella and cheddar cheese between each slice, reserving a few tablespoons of cheese. Stuff a few pieces of pepperoni, a meatball and a few spinach leaves between each slice. Lightly sprinkle remaining cheese over loaf.
  • 5 Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese begins to brown. Remove from oven and drizzle pizza with warm cheese sauce. Top with tomatoes, basil and more pizza sauce if desired. Enjoy!

The Party Pizza Ring You Might Need Both Hands to Eat

As prepared by Half Baked Harvest,

I think you know it is party time when you see a pizza like this.

Do you see just how loaded to the brim with goodness it is?!?! I mean, it has cheese, times like three, meatballs, pepperonis, a little spinach for color and yes, more cheese!! Need I say more?

With it being mid September and all, I in full on fall mode. This means, football, apples, cheesy food, Halloween thoughts and yes, even some Thanksgiving thoughts too! I am maybe just a little bit obsessed with fall. All that said, I created this recipe with all the upcoming entertaining of football games and holidays in mind. I honestly can not think of a better recipe for a little game day party. This pizza ring is anything anyone could ever want in a game day recipe. Plus, it is so fun, so cute and so very easy to make too! Yes, please!!

Alrighty, so here is how we make this loaded pizza party ring!

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. And gather up all your ingredients. Note that if you want to make two rings like in the photos, double the ingredients in this recipe.

Tips

If you want to make two pizza rings (like in the photos), simply double the recipe.

You can make the recipe vegetarian-friendly by omitting the meatballs and pepperoni and adding mushrooms in their place.
