Toss pasta and fresh summer tomatoes into this simple sauce for a fresh take on Alfredo, without the cream!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup white onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Progresso™ vegetable broth (chicken or beef broth also okay)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves or cilantro, tightly packed
  • Salt, to taste

Steps

    Place all ingredients together in a blender. Puree for 1-2 minutes, until very smooth.
