Sundried Tomato Spread

Serve this tasty spread with thin slices of French bread. If desired, drizzle with a little good olive oil just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp chopped basil
  • 1/4 cup sundried tomaotes, chopped
  • 2 cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic, basil and sundried tomatoes and reduce heat to low. Simmer for five minutes.

  3. Add the beans and toss to coat. Transfer the mixture to the bowl of a food processor.

  4. Pulse until well combined.

  5. Serve with thin slices of French bread.
