Boiled shrimp with a spicy taco cocktail sauce!

Ingredients

  • 20 large shrimp, deveined and cleaned
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix

Steps

    Devein shrimp if they aren't already cleaned. Cut off shells and slice down the back of the shrimp with a paring knife. Rinse out the vein in the shrimp by running it under cold water.

    Bring a medium pot of water to simmer and add 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning to the water. Add shrimp to water, cover and simmer for 60 seconds.

    Kill the heat and let the shrimp continue to poach slowly for another two minutes.

    Check a shrimp to make sure are cooked through. Then drain them.
  • 5
    Stir together ketchup with remaining 1 tablespoon taco seasoning and horseradish.

    Serve five shrimp with 1/4 cup of cocktail sauce.
