I was just lying down to go to sleep the other night when an idea popped into my head of a fabulous appetizer for the big game. It’d take elements from several game day favs and remake them into this amazing, handheld snack that everyone young and old would adore.Oh yes, it was like an epiphany: pizza + chili = fabulousity. And that’s how the idea of this Chili Cheese Pizza was born. It’s easy, easy, easy to make. You start with a Pillsbury premade pizza crust – the one in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. Just unroll it and spread it out on a 9x13 baking pan. Top it with chili (I used leftover turkey chili) and extra sharp cheddar cheese. Bake, slice and enjoy! You could even toss some chopped jalapeno peppers on, if you wanted more heat. Or, dot each piece with a little guacamole before serving. Any which way you do it, it’s a delicious way to make chili a handheld experience on game day.Looking for more fabulous ideas for appetizers for the big game?
