When it’s time to celebrate another birthday, there are your usual suspects: Your cake (with sprinkles, obviously), your cookies and brownies, your vodka. (This is a party, after all.)
And now, you’ve got your cake vodka-infused Birthday Cake Brownie Brittle with an addictive cookie-like crunch. Because every day should be your birthday, don’t you think?
This recipe is an easy one. Call the friends over. Fire up the oven (350°F, to be exact). Grab the cake vodka and ingredient line-up above. In about an hour, you’ll have enough booze-infused snackables to feed everyone.
Start by mixing together the chocolate fudge brownie mix, eggs, butter, vodkavodkavodka and vodka.
Spread batter into a very thin layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Then toss into the oven and bake for 5 minutes before sprinkling with candy chips.
Half an hour later, out comes the brownie, but you can’t eat it just yet! Let it cool completely so you can crack it into tasty little pieces of perfect brittle.
Ahhhh. You’ve been so marvelously patient. Time to crack.
Gently press down on the brittle, creating 2-3” pieces.
