Bulgogi marinade is simple to make, very flavorful, and super versatile.
Once you have all the ingredients in your pantry, it’s one of those sauces that you can just whip up and throw on for an awesome dinner that requires no forethought – like that flank steak that has been in your freezer.
This Bulgogi Burger is a great example of this flavorful Korean sauce’s versatility. Mix it into some ground beef and you have a new twist on burgers that is sure to surprise and delight at your next BBQ. These don’t need cheese, but if you insist, I would use American.
A good friend who was over for dinner called these a delicious surprise, and I think that was a good way to describe them. The meat was super savory with a little hint of sweet and sour, and the kimchi added freshness and a little spice. I served them with some sweet potato tortilla chips, which worked great. Enjoy!
