More About This Recipe

  • Check it out, we've got a quick and easy way to elevate your taco game. You are about to get the best darned taco-making tip. But this, friends. This is the True Way to eat a taco. And once you have yourself a bite, you’ll nod your heads in agreement—and wonder at the genius that keeps unruly hard shell fragments contained in a soft tortilla blanket. Or something like that. Now you may stuff these tacos with anything you please, but here’s a little secret from one foodie to another: Make the most gloriously simple chicken taco filling by popping 3-4 chicken breasts into your slow cooker in the morning. Drizzle with Old El Paso™ enchilada sauce and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours, then shred and stick this chick in your tacos. You will not be not-sad. And by that, I mean you will be happy! Seriously taco happy. These double decker tacos don’t just combine soft-n-crunchy shells into a texture explosion. They also superboost the space available for taco fillings. So, you’ll be eating 23.1% more stuff, all in one little handful of tacoage. This is everything we need to complete our existences. It’s all about the tacoage. Know what I mean?
