Seriously, guys and gals, this dip is DA BOMB. And I don’t say “da bomb” about many things very often. It’s sweet, spicy, creamy and so stinkin’ easy to make. Oh, oh, OH – and it’s also festively colored! I kinda like that part the best.
ANYWAY, first you’ll want to pour a bag of cranberries and a stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped jalapeno into a food processor. Whir it all together until it’s finely diced, then add some sugar, lime juice, cumin and salt and stir that up all nicely.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it make merry in the fridge for a few hours so all the flavors meld together. Now’s a good time to start the “A Christmas Story” mega marathon.
