Expert Tips

  • tip 1
Not all peppermint schnapps are created equal. Some have a much higher alcohol content than others, which may intensify the flavor in this recipe. Make sure to taste your peppermint schnapps before adding it to this recipe!

Want to know the secret to cutting bars easily? It’s easy—just line the pan with foil. Start by turning the pan upside down and tearing off a piece of foil longer than pan. Smooth foil around the pan bottom, then lift it off. Flip the pan over, and gently fit shaped foil into pan. When it is time to cut the bars, just lift the bar out of the pan using the foil edge. Peel foil back and cut. Bonus—this also makes cleanup a breeze.
