Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 7 cups sliced peeled Granny Smith apples (about 7 medium)
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 11x7-inch pan with cooking spray.

    In food processor, place 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar and butter. Cover; process with on-and-off pulses 4 times or until crumbly.

    In large bowl, gently toss apples, apple cider, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, the lemon juice, 1 tablespoon flour and the cinnamon. Spoon into pan; sprinkle crumb mixture over apple mixture.

    Bake 40 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm.
