More About This Recipe
  • Every St. Patty's Day deserves this sweetly spiked treat!

St. Patty’s Day has always been a spiked celebration. Mugs are filled with Guinness, Jameson is poured freely, and Baileys sweetens every pot o’ gold. But ‘round these parts, we’re like ... who needs to spike their celebration?

‘Cause we gonna SUPERSPIKE ours. Boosh.

This easy recipe takes a basic batch of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, then turns the pre-made icing into a triple liquor Guinness-Jameson-Baileys kissed frosting fit for any Irish celebrant. Perfect for parties, better for brunch, this is one recipe that’ll have you thinking three is the perfect number.

The ingredient list here is easy, peasy. Cinnamon rolls and liquor. Are we happy or what?

So, you’re gonna open your cinnamon rolls and put them in a pan. That’s it. Open. Pan. Life should always be this easy.

Pop those cinnamon rolls in the oven for a moment and let’s turn our attention to the most important part of any dessert recipe. The icing. In this case, SPIKED icing.

Start with the icing that comes with those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, then spike it with Guinness, Jameson, Baileys. A tablespoon of each for the icing ... and perhaps a shot of each for your face. That's optional, of course.

As you whisk the mixture, you may worry that it’s too runny. But, around these parts, we just like to call that "boozy". And there’s no such thing as too boozy. So all is well.

Hot cinnamon rolls outta the oven, with boozy icing ready for drizzling. This is the good stuff.

Grab a fork, a napkin, and a camera. Because this is a moment you’ll want to remember.

(And with all that boozy icing…it’s a moment you may just forget!)
