More About This Recipe
  • Snickers™ Salad is well-known in church potluck circles. It’s a vintage recipe that you can’t forget once you’ve tasted it.

Of course, the name rather hilariously overlooks the fact that cubes of crisp green apples are also enveloped in dreamy, creamy white perfection.

So why isn’t it called Apple Salad? Because…candy bars. In something called a salad. Is this not genius?

You can mix this up in a few minutes flat, so check it out the next time you’re the one tagged to bring something to the party. And hey, you get to decide if you put it on the table with the salads—or the desserts!

Chop chop, people! Snickers™ candy bars and apples, that is. Also snatch some whipped topping, pudding mix, vanilla and milk, and some peanuts and caramel for topping.

The mixing is easy. First whisk the pudding mix and milk, then whisk that into the whipped topping. Then toss in the candy bar and apple pieces and fold it all together in one sweet and chunky cloud.

Serve it up in little glasses or bowls. Or just put the big bowl out and let people help themselves. But whatever you do—top it with a bit of caramel drizzle and a few salty peanuts.

Then, dig in to sweet-salty-fruity paradise!
