This classic Italian dessert goes Irish in a fun, dippable form!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Irish whiskey
  • 1 ounce espresso
  • 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • Ladyfingers, for serving

Steps

    Add the mascarpone and cream cheese to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until mixed together.

    Beat in the powdered sugar, whiskey, and espresso. Scrape down the bowl as needed and continue beating until smooth and creamy.

    Spread into a small serving bowl and dust with the cocoa powder.

    Serve with ladyfingers.

  • Tiramisu dip made with Irish whiskey and served with lady fingers is a fun, sweet dessert. 

    It’s March, which means that everything is green and everyone is drunk. Obviously, March is my favorite month of the year.

    This year, let’s put a little Irish spin on a classic Italian dessert!

    Grab the Irish whiskey, because we’re turning tiramisu into dip and we’re drunking it up with some whiskey for a little March madness fun!

    This recipe is so simple and quick to whip up. Toss some mascarpone and cream cheese into a mixer and beat ‘em together with a little powdered sugar. You could use all mascarpone and omit the cream cheese if you’re super fancy. I like the little bit of tang from the cream cheese (and I also like the fact that it’s cheaper than mascarpone).

    Stir together a hit of espresso and a glug or two of whiskey. Pour that right in the mixing bowl. And if you don’t have a fancy espresso maker, just grab a little jar of the instant stuff and dissolve it in some hot water. Ain’t no thang.

    Spread it into a pretty dish and dust with some cocoa powder.

    You’ll need ladyfingers for dipping!

    Or you could use graham cracker sticks or vanilla wafer cookies. Or a spoon. Spoons are always good, too.
