More About This Recipe

  • Top your pretzels with sweet marshmallow flowers for the prettiest springtime treat.

Spring is in the air and you know what that means, right?

That’s right! It’s time for National Pretzel Day!

Who doesn’t love munching on these salty little bites of goodness? It’s my favorite go-to snack.

In honor of National Pretzel Day I just had to dress up these little waffle pretzels all cute-like to celebrate! I also love adding a sweetness factor to their saltiness—a little bit of chocolate, a little bit of marshmallow and a little bit of frosting on top of a salty pretzel... well, it’s just the BEST. SNACK. EVER.

For this scrumptiousness, you’re going to need a handful of pretzels, frosting, mini marshmallows and M&M™ Minis.

Mix the Betty Crocker™ Fluffy White Frosting with green food coloring to get a nice spring green color. I use food coloring gel for a more vibrant color, but you can use a liquid food coloring for a more pastel green.

Next, spread a little frosting on top of the pretzel.

Cut the mini marshmallows on the diagonal to make the flower petals.

Press the cut side of the marshmallow into a small dish filled with colored sugar sprinkles.

Next, arrange 5 marshmallow petals on top of the frosted pretzel so it looks like a pretty flower. Adorable, right?

Press an M&M™ Mini into the middle of the flower for the finishing touch—besides, you gotta have chocolate with pretzels!

These pretty pretzels are the perfect way to celebrate your favorite snack.

    Happy National Pretzel Day!
