More About This Recipe

  • We know how excited you must be to whip up this sweet, spicy marinade and slather it on absolutely everything but before you begin, we thought we’d pass along a few marinating tips. First, stainless steel and glass containers work fine for marinating, but when preparing this sweet chili marinade, we suggest tossing everything in a resealable plastic bag. This way the marinade can be evenly distributed and plastic bags make clean up a cinch. Also, the longer you marinate your meat, the more tender it will turn out, but we don’t suggest marinating it any longer than 24 hours, otherwise the meat can get tough. Finally, always, always marinate in the refrigerator to ensure freshness. That’s it! Soon you’ll be a marinating pro, ready to take on our other simple homemade sauces and seasonings.
