Toasted Rosemary Nuts

Flavored nuts are one of those snacks that make any party feel instantly classier. And why pay extra when they’re so simple to DIY? Just toast your favorite nuts with a little butter, rosemary and a touch of ground red pepper, and you’ll have the perfect appetizer/dinner party snack ready in no time. (They make great gifts, too.)

Toasted Rosemary Nuts

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 3 cups raw nuts (almonds, pecans, cashews)

Instructions

    Heat oven to 300°F. Spray 18x13-inch rimmed sheet pan with cooking spray.

    In medium bowl, mix rosemary, melted butter, sugar, salt and red pepper. Add nuts; stir to coat.

    Place nuts on sheet pan in even layer. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, stirring halfway through, until nuts are toasted. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store in airtight container.
