Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet potato (about 14 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Louisiana style hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley

Steps

  • 1
Cut sweet potato in half lengthwise. Cut each half into 1/2-inch wedges, leaving skin on. The wedges can be cut in half crosswise to fit in the air fryer basket. In small bowl, mix wedges, oil and seasoning; gently stir to coat.
  • 2
Spray basket of air fryer with cooking spray. Spread wedges evenly in basket; set to 375°F, and cook 6 minutes.
  • 3
Stir or shake basket; cook again 4 to 6 minutes or until wedges are browned on the edges and tender in center.
  • 4
Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix mayonnaise, relish, garlic, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and parsley. Serve with potato wedges.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
Choose a sweet potato that is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches round in diameter. Leave the skin on, as that helps the wedges hold their fry-like shape.
  • tip 2
Air fryer temperature control settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.
  • tip 3
Our recipes do not call for preheating your air fryer. Just set the temperature, and start. Never preheat with parchment paper alone.
