Air Fryer Cajun Sweet Potato Wedges

Sometimes you just need some fries on the fly. Thanks to the air fryer, you can enjoy these spicy sweet potato wedges without cranking up the temperature in your oven. Pair it with a creamy rémoulade sauce for a Cajun-inspired snack you can heat-and-eat in under 30 minutes.

Air Fryer Cajun Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet potato (about 14 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Louisiana style hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

    Cut sweet potato in half lengthwise. Cut each half into 1/2-inch wedges, leaving skin on. The wedges can be cut in half crosswise to fit in the air fryer basket. In small bowl, mix wedges, oil and seasoning; gently stir to coat.

    Spray basket of air fryer with cooking spray. Spread wedges evenly in basket; set to 375°F, and cook 6 minutes.

    Stir or shake basket; cook again 4 to 6 minutes or until wedges are browned on the edges and tender in center.

    Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix mayonnaise, relish, garlic, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and parsley. Serve with potato wedges.
