Homestyle Pumpkin Bread

This is a wonderful recipe I received from a neighbor. I often take this as a hostess gift or as something to share at parties ... and it always disappears. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree

large eggs

cup vegetable oil

cup water
3
cups white sugar
3 1/2
cups all-purpose flour

teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2
teaspoons salt
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1
teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2
teaspoon ground cloves
1/2
teaspoon ground ginger

    Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour three loaf pans.

    In large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into loaf pans.

    Bake for about 50 minutes. Bread is done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
