More About This Recipe

  • This chocolate-coffee and banana drink is a tasty filler-upper pick-me-up.

The name's just pure fun. The drink's just pure yum. And with bananas and yogurt in the mix, it's got nutrition covered too.

    Here we go!

Snatch this stuff outta your fridge: Purchased mocha iced-coffee drink (make sure it's the creamy kind), Banana Cream Yoplait Light yogurt, and a naner.

If you've got one of these personal-sized blender whirly thingies, this is a perfect recipe for it. If not, or if you wanna make more than one at a time, use a traditional blender.

Chop up the banana and give it a few rounds in the blender if you want your bananas smooth. But if a chunky monkey is more your cup of tea, skip that step so the bananas aren't mushed up.

Add the mocha iced coffee and yogurt and whiz away.

Add the mixture to your cup (I found this one here) and toss in a skewered banana chunk as a stir stick just because.

Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and it's ready to pound down the hatch!

    Kid-Friendly Version

Got kids? Sub in chocolate milk for the mocha iced coffee and you've got a chocolate-banana smoothie that'll have 'em scratching their armpits and swinging with delight!
