If your martini glass has been beckoning for a piece of pumpkin pie, it’s time to feed that craving. Like a boozy slice of everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving dessert, cocktail hour just got a whole lot sweeter.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka (plain or flavored, such as vanilla or marshmallow)
  • 3 ounces pumpkin pie cream liqueur, such as Fulton’s Harvest™ (plus more to rim the glass)
  • Pumpkin pie spice (for garnish)
  • Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
  • Sparkling sugar or sprinkles (to rim the glass)

Steps

    In a small dish, pour a small amount of pumpkin pie cream liqueur. In a separate small dish, cover the bottom of the dish with sprinkles. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the liqueur, then immediately roll the rim in the sprinkles. Set aside.

    Into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka with the 3 ounces of pumpkin pie cream liqueur. Shake to chill and blend, then strain the cocktail into the martini glass.

    To garnish, sprinkle the cocktail lightly with pumpkin pie spice, and serve with a cinnamon stick as a stir stick.

    If you can’t find pumpkin pie cream liqueur, you can create a substitution. Combine 1 1/2 ounces of pumpkin liqueur, such as Hiram Walker™ to 1 1/2 ounces of Irish cream such as Bailey's™.

    To give this cocktail a sweeter taste, garnish with sweetened whipped cream before sprinkling with pumpkin pie spice.
