Snickers™ Ice Cream Bars

Snickers™ bars and ice cream are great on their own, but bring them together and you’ve got a frozen dessert to rule all others. With chocolate ice cream, caramel and lots of chopped Snickers™ pieces, these bars aren’t just good — they’re positively irresistible.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 3 3/4 cups Golden Grahams™ cereal
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Filling

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped cocktail peanuts
  • 1 container (28 oz) Häagen-Dazs™ chocolate ice cream, softened

Topping

  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate fudge sauce
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 3 bars (1.86 oz each) Snickers™ candy, chopped (generous 1 cup)

    Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.

    In food processor, place cereal; cover and process until finely crushed. In medium bowl, mix crushed cereal and brown sugar with fork. Stir in melted butter until well blended. Press mixture evenly in bottom of pan. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until set. Cool 30 minutes.

    Spread 1/2 cup caramel sauce on top of cereal layer. Sprinkle peanuts over top. Place in freezer 10 minutes. Spread softened ice cream on top of peanuts. Freeze uncovered 20 minutes. Spread whipped topping on top of frozen cake. In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate fudge sauce uncovered on High 10 to 20 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle with chocolate fudge and caramel sauces; sprinkle with chopped candy bars. Cover; place in freezer about 4 hours or until firm.

    Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in freezer.

    To soften ice cream, remove from freezer to refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes before needed.

    Häagen-Dazs™ is a premium ice cream, and tends to melt less when using in a recipe.
