Vegetable Fried Rice is total Chinese comfort food….in minutes!
I am a bit obsessed with fried rice. It was the first food, along with egg drop soup, that I learned to eat at Chinese restaurants as a kid. But somehow, I never quite grew out of it and admittedly still order fried rice nearly every time we hit up a Chinese restaurant or takeout. Call it carbs, call it good flavor, call it comfort food….I just love it!
The fun thing is that it’s also a breeze to make at home! The key is just having some refrigerated rice ready to go. It’s a great use for leftover rice, or it’s also quick and easy to make a batch the night before or in the morning prior to work.
And then mixing it with these Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers makes the veggie part a breeze! Just steam and add them directly to the fried rice, and voila! A simple and DE-licious meal is ready to go in less than 15 minutes.
