Ingredients

Jack Daniels™ Teriyaki Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Jack Daniels™ whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Steps

  • 1
Whisk together all ingredients except water and cornstarch in a small pot over medium-low heat. Whisk well to dissolve sugars and bring to a simmer.
  • 2
In a separate small bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch so there are no lumps. Add cornstarch mixture to pot and continue to simmer until sauce is thick enough to coat a spoon, about 5-6 minutes. Remove sauce from heat and let cool.
