More About This Recipe
Mini means you can eat A LOT of something. Right?
I don't know what it is lately. Perhaps my iron levels have fallen to the pits of despair. Maybe it's the wicked tail of the devil as he slathereth our fragile Earth with a blanket of lava air waves. Or perhaps I'm just the quintessential all-American girl (YEAH RIGHT) and I simply need me a dang cheeseburger.
And I'm talking the beefy kind. Not some willy nilly Joe blow do dad mo mad healthy meat kind. I mean good grief. Oh! That rhymes with GOOD BEEF. Would ya look at that.
So I pulled together some Mini Cheeseburger Bites, so that my mouth could boogie and my iron levels would relax already.
Why did I make 'em mini? I MEAN DO YOU EVEN KNOW ME AT ALL?
Grab some beef, some all-purpose seasoning, garlic salt, a Pillsbury Simply Rustic French Bread tube, some lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese and avocado. Summer!
Alright then you'll just dump the garlic salt and all-purpose seasoning onto the meat, like deeez. And then work it good with your hands until it's all combined. I don't want to gross you out right now, but I could not stop SMELLING the beef. It smelled so good.
Then you'll just make 10 little patties with your hands. Pat 'em out. Pat, pat, pat. That's why they call them patties, you know. Oh you knew that? Oh.
Now, I let mine sit in the fridge for about 3-ish hours, just because the gravitational pull of my heart direct messaged me to do so, but if you're ready to roll, das fine.
So you're going to roll the Pillsbury French bread dough out like a pizza. I used a rolling pin to get it pretty thin. And then I took this little glass and cut out 20 circles. Guess what these will be. THE BUNS. Can I say adorbs or will you paper cut me?
And just so you know, I had to roll out the remaining dough a second time to get all 20 rounds. You might have to as well.
Mmmm, then you cook the leetle burgs. I just seared mine straight up in a skillet. Yes sir.
Then I turned off my heat, placed the little cheese square slices on top of the burgs, closed the lid and let it get all ooey and gooey and melty and omg.
By the way, notice the cheeseless burgers? Hi, do you know my freak husband? Yeah.
And then you just decorate! Oh, I baked the buns for a little bit. You're going to want to do that too. Look at that cheese.
Little tomato, little avocado, little lettuce. Ugh.
And mercy me, if you want to add ketchup and mayo, dewwww it.
Little cheeseburger bites! Look, you guys, fall will be here before you know it. Knock this off your summer mouthal bucket list, m'kay?
