Baked Chicken with Homemade Orange-Barbecue Sauce

Homemade BBQ sauce that whips up in a couple minutes adds all the flavor needed for delicious baked chicken breasts. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3/4
cup orange juice (strained, pulp free)
1/4
cup ketchup
2
tablespoons honey
2
tablespooons soy sauce
1
tablespoons chili powder (or less, if desired)

    Coat 9 inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • 2
    Rinse chicken breasts in cool water. Pat with paper towels and set aside.

    Mix remaining ingredients. Pour half of mixture in bottom of pan. Add chicken breasts, and pour remaining sauce over chicken.

    Bake at 350° F for 45-60 minutes (depending on size of chicken breasts), until chicken juices run clear. Baste after 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place chicken on platter or plates; baste with sauce from pan. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • Refrigerate leftovers, then cut into strips to place over lettuce salad.
  • Add remaining sauce to small cups and serve on the side as shown.
