Baked Chicken with Homemade Orange-Barbecue Sauce

Homemade BBQ sauce that whips up in a couple minutes adds all the flavor needed for delicious baked chicken breasts.

Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3/4 cup orange juice (strained, pulp free)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespooons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons chili powder (or less, if desired)

Steps

    Coat 9 inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • 2
    Rinse chicken breasts in cool water. Pat with paper towels and set aside.
  • 3
    Mix remaining ingredients. Pour half of mixture in bottom of pan. Add chicken breasts, and pour remaining sauce over chicken.

    Bake at 350° F for 45-60 minutes (depending on size of chicken breasts), until chicken juices run clear. Baste after 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place chicken on platter or plates; baste with sauce from pan. Serve immediately.
