Expert Tips

  • We like to use a smoky, sweet barbecue sauce for this recipe. Since barbecue sauce varies drastically in flavor, be sure you find one with notes of sweet, smoke, hickory and slight tanginess (vinegar) for your best match to the original Chick-fil-A® sauce.
  • This sauce can be stored, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to five days.
  • This smoky, tangy dipping sauce goes best with chicken nuggets or your favorite French fries.
